ReviewMe provides both valuable feedback and buzz to advertisers in the blogosphere, and simultaneously allows bloggers to increase their revenue while mainting their editorial integrity and true voice.

The Business Model is very simple:

1) You submit your blog. You simply have to subscribe with your email.

2) ReviewMe checks if your blog generates enough buzz and traffic. It means your blog(s) have to be well referenced (probably based on Technorati and Alexa).

3) ReviewMe proposes you to pay you to review a service, website or product on your validated blog.

In order to raise buzz about their money making service, ReviewMe already pay you to talk about their own service...

There is many reasons why you need to be realistic when you start.

First, if you read my previous article about the need to create added value within your blog, you will easily understand that it is not realistic to publish several blogs at the same time at the beginning (unless you want to copy/paste content which is not creating added value, and which is generally not well seen by Google for referencing...)

Second: there is an issue of workload: If you immediately start by launching several blogs looking for attracting many visitors, you will fail quickly unless you write full-time on your blogs.

Moreover, you will not be able to see clearly the steps of success of each blog separately. Remember taht when you start, you need to identify all the elements that helps to increase the number of visitors, then you will need to identify what actions on your blog are helping to increase your revenues...

It is thus necessary, when you start your first blog, to concentrate on the way your are going to grow it as a tree or a baby...

Remember that too many water or too many light can kill a plant. To grow it quickly, you need to identify what is good for its growth...then you can become a successful gardener !

It is the same for your first blog (before you use ads and also when ou start using adSense !): Test, analyse, understand and learn from each step that helps you:

  • grow the number of visitors
  • create the feeling of a community on your blog
  • make visitors create links towards your blog
  • increase your PageRank
Do not hesitate to take notes of your results to be able to reuse them later...

MEMO: Identify the keys of success while growing your first blog

I will start this blog with a small serie of posts explaining how to earn money from blogging.

The way you need to start is obviously to create your first blog. It is necessary to start with only one blog first, in order to have enough time to really experiment each step of your growing blog.

Remember that the objective is to earn money from your blog.
It means you will need to be a member of (for example) the Google AdSense program. For those who don't know what it is: the column of ads you can see on the right are what you can put on your blog with the Google AdSense program.

But to be accepted for the Google AdSense program, your blog:

  • must have a minimum of interesting content (this is where you need to create added value for your visitors)
  • must be referenced by Google (when Google detect that you really create valuable content, this goes very quick)
  • must have some external links pointing to it (this comes naturally when your first visitors find added value within your articles...)
  • must have a content regularly updated (freshness is important for Google referencing, but also to maintain and of course grow the number of visitors regularly browsing your blog).
So I hope you clearly understand that you can not just start earning money from nothing at all !
The best way to make money is to create value ! Keep that in mind !
But don't run away ! It can go very quick if you follow the rules and keep in mind that your objective is still to make real money from your blog.

MEMO: Be regular and create added value for your visitors !
